The public [App Preview Craft asset distribution](https://github.com/imshaikot/app-preview-craft-skill/tree/f793a8427c69d81803cdcbf79dea14db8b208ebe/skills/app-preview-craft/assets) supplies the two device files with Meshopt compression and WebP textures. Its per-model credits and each GLB's embedded metadata retain the original authors, model sources, and licenses. The original downloads are retained; the runtime MacBook file removes its replaced wallpaper and unused UV bindings. The mobile derivatives are described below. The prototype adapts screen imagery, device pose and scale, and lighting. The phone's loaded display UVs are normalized across its face and bevel so the full screenshot fits without wrapping. Its four untextured orange housing materials are recolored silver at runtime, retaining their authored metalness and roughness. Lenses, glass, model shape, and source images are unchanged by the finish adaptation. Include these author/source/license credits when publishing the prototype or renders derived from these models.

The stand and nameplate were downloaded from public [Objaverse](https://huggingface.co/datasets/allenai/objaverse) GLB distributions with original Sketchfab source/author/license metadata. The normalized stand has 1,454 triangles and no texture downloads. Original cradle geometry is rigidly aligned, centered, and uniformly normalized to 0.48 width; its single material is adapted to anodized aluminum (base color 0.4/0.43/0.46, metalness 0.92, roughness 0.28). The nameplate selects the author's `NamePlaque2_HighRes` variant without the business-card holder, retains its walnut/brass geometry and material maps, aligns and normalizes the model, and applies Meshopt compression. The unrelated BRANCH TELLER insert graphic was removed; the original insert face receives simple UVs and a dedicated blank material, with two flat Asteri branding decals added at runtime. Its 1,248 triangles retain the original support geometry. Both props receive local pose/scale and lighting adaptations; neither is rebuilt from procedural replacement geometry. Preserve each original model's attribution when publishing the scene or posters.

## Environment maps and surface textures — CC0

- **Studio Small 09**: **Sergej Majboroda**, from [Poly Haven](https://polyhaven.com/a/studio_small_09). Runtime file: `studio-light-1k.hdr` (the official 1024×512 download). The original `studio-light-2k.hdr` is retained for provenance. Used for studio illumination and reflections; the visible forest-green studio is authored 3D architecture rather than this photographic panorama.
- **Oak Veneer 01**: **Jenelle van Heerden**, from [Poly Haven](https://polyhaven.com/a/oak_veneer_01). The Blender studio embeds a 512-pixel, warm walnut-colored derivative of `oak-veneer-diffuse-1k.jpg`; the original is unchanged. The previous diffuse WebP and original normal/roughness JPGs are retained for provenance and are no longer separate runtime requests.
- **Brown Leather**: **Rob Tuytel**, from [Poly Haven](https://polyhaven.com/a/brown_leather). Runtime files: `chair-leather-color.webp` (1024×1024, quality 82), `chair-leather-normal.webp` (1024×1024, OpenGL +Y normal, quality 84), and `chair-leather-roughness.webp` (256×256, quality 90). The unchanged 1K source maps are recorded in `sources.json`; runtime derivatives use Sharp WebP effort 6, with Lanczos3 reduction for roughness. The three files total 404,438 bytes. They override only the existing chair leather/piping materials and supply the added rear-seam material, while retaining the studio model, UVs, and baked lighting.

These photographic assets are released under [CC0 1.0](https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/), as confirmed by [Poly Haven's asset license](https://polyhaven.com/license). Attribution is appreciated and recorded here. Downloaded files are unchanged.

`sources.json` records source URLs, public license evidence, exact asset sizes, hashes, and model display metadata.

## Landscape photograph — source states public domain

**Wilderness Mountain Layers**, Shenandoah National Park, credited to **NPS**,
from the [official National Park Service gallery](https://npgallery.nps.gov/AssetDetail/549e735a-155d-451f-6784-6c800af08dd4).
The source rights statement is **Public domain:Full Granting Rights**. The
3600×2400 original is unchanged; `wall-landscape.webp` is a center-cropped,
resized 1280×786 derivative encoded with Sharp WebP quality 84, effort 6
(101,434 bytes). It is displayed as one opaque, lit print inside the existing
frame. This real photograph replaces three overlapping abstract-art layers;
the frame, mat, canvas, studio model, and baked lightmaps remain unchanged.
Exact original and derivative hashes are recorded in `sources.json`.

## Asteri studio and brand assets

`office-studio.glb` contains original Blender-authored architecture, furniture, artwork, plants, and garden geometry: 29 meshes and 71,359 triangles. The 21 baked interior meshes retain their surface UVs plus a shared lightmap UV set; eight garden meshes use live lighting. The complete source and rebuild instructions are in the [studio recipe](../../../../../../docs/features/SERVICE_WORLD_STUDIO_RECIPE.md). Geometry and lighting were authored for Asteri, without AI-generated imagery or new asset downloads. Embedded material derivatives retain the CC0 oak credit above and the original Asteri mineral/leather-map provenance below.

`office-light-day.webp` and `office-light-evening.webp` are original 2048×2048 lightmaps baked with CPU Cycles at 32 samples, including direct and indirect diffuse illumination and stationary contact shadows. Blender's bundled Open Image Denoise processes the float bakes in HDR mode. Lossless WebP stores `sqrt(linear radiance / 16)` in 8-bit RGB channels to preserve shadow detail; the runtime squares samples before blending in linear space. Both use `NoColorSpace` and runtime light-map intensity `16 * Math.PI`. They are illumination data for the modeled room, not app screenshots or background photographs.

The chair is positioned on the near side of the desk facing the laptop, and both lighting atlases are rebaked for that placement. The mug, notebook, three frosted glass panes, flat window vinyl, and interactive lamp are independent live geometry in `apps/web/lib/three/service-workshop-environment.ts`. Window vinyl reuses the existing `mug-emblem.webp` texture and official `apps/web/public/brand/asteri-wordmark-v2.png` wordmark. The raised 3D wall sign and halo are removed. These Asteri assets are separate from the third-party licenses above.

The imported walnut/brass nameplate is credited above and uses runtime scale 0.95. Its two flat decals reuse the official wordmark and original lettering mask. Its **TECHNOLOGIES LLC** line is original local SVG text in Arial, rasterized as a 1024×128 transparent white mask in `nameplate-lettering.webp` (3,648 bytes, lossless WebP), tinted dark green at runtime. It has no downloaded font, third-party image source, or interaction.

The mug print uses `mug-emblem.webp`, a 256×256 RGBA derivative of the official `apps/web/public/logo-v2.png`. Sharp resized the source with Lanczos3 and encoded the result as lossless WebP at effort 6. The original PNG is unchanged. A curved plane follows the mug's taper, matching the ceramic glaze; texture repeat/offset exclude transparent margins. This Asteri brand adaptation has no new third-party asset license dependency.

The six `mineral-{color,detail}-512.webp`, `leather-{color,detail}-512.webp`, and `leaf-{color,detail}-256.webp` maps are original Asteri textures generated offline without external image inputs. The Blender studio uses mineral/leather detail as authoring input for embedded normal/roughness maps. Of these original six maps, only mineral detail is still requested separately, for live ceramic props; the other files remain as source/provenance assets. Color maps use WebP quality 88; packed height/roughness maps use lossless WebP. They have no third-party texture-license dependency. The exact source, seeds, and encoder versions are preserved in the [material recipe](../../../../../../docs/features/SERVICE_WORLD_MATERIAL_RECIPE.md); sizes and hashes are in `sources.json`.

`office-opening-desktop.webp` (1600×900) and the original `office-opening-mobile.webp` (390×844) are derived scene renders. The revised Blender studio with the Brown Leather chair and rear-seam detail, NPS landscape print, imported stand and smaller nameplate at scale 0.95, seated phone, corrected chair, frosted panes, and window vinyl was captured in the in-app Browser, with HTML overlays, navigation, and steam temporarily hidden only during capture and CSS then restored byte-for-byte. The 79,728-byte desktop and 15,208-byte mobile posters use Sharp 0.35.5 WebP at quality 86, effort 6. Their source captures are `chair-leather-clean-desktop.jpg` and `chair-leather-clean-mobile.jpg` in the task visualization folder. These posters include the imported devices and desk props, so their publication must carry all four model authors, source links, and CC BY 4.0 attribution above.

## Mobile startup derivatives (October 18, 2026)

`macbook-pro-16-mobile.glb` and `iphone-17-pro-max-mobile.glb` are simplified
Meshopt-compressed derivatives of the credited models above. Display geometry,
UVs and indices are retained exactly; material names, original metadata and
device bounds remain intact. Non-display geometry is simplified and embedded
material images are limited to 512 pixels. Original author, source and CC BY 4.0
credits apply to both versions and all derived renders.

`office-studio-mobile.glb` simplifies the original studio and omits its exterior
garden geometry. `garden-window-mobile.webp` is a blurred 512×594 render of that
same authored garden, shared across the three window panes. It replaces live
refraction on mobile; the vinyl remains separate geometry. Both are original
Asteri scene derivatives. The mobile daylight/evening atlases are 1024×1024
lossless reductions of the same baked light data. `studio-light-mobile.hdr` is a
256×128 float-radiance reduction of the credited CC0 Poly Haven HDR.

The revised `office-opening-mobile.webp` is a new 500×1082 capture of this mobile
scene, encoded using Sharp 0.35.5 WebP quality 92, effort 6 (31,896 bytes). Its
source is `office-opening-mobile-sharp.jpg` in the task visualization folder.
HTML overlays were hidden only for capture; CSS was restored. It retains all
four model authors' attribution. The desktop poster and genuine app captures
are unchanged. Sizes, hashes and preparation details are in `sources.json`.

## Asteri app captures

The MacBook source is `web-schedule.png` (3072×1988), a lossless native Chrome DevTools screenshot of the actual local Asteri web Calendar Day view, captured October 17, 2026. It shows three jobs in the dedicated fictional **Northline Home Services** company. The user approved Chrome capture at a 1536×994 CSS viewport and 2× pixel density. No cropping, resizing, or generated content was applied; a small capture pointer remains over the noon card. Runtime and gallery use the derived lossless `web-schedule.webp`, with identical decoded RGBA pixels and dimensions.

The iPhone source is `mobile-home-light.png` (1320×2868), an unedited `simctl` PNG capture of the current native Asteri **owner Home** screen in **light mode**, signed in normally as **Alex Morgan** at Northline. It was captured October 17, 2026, at 6:25 PM America/New_York on the iPhone 17 Pro Max simulator running iOS 26.5 (`com.asteri.mobile.local`). The screen includes the real **Talk to Asteri** orb and app data; no app UI or phone chrome was fabricated. Runtime and gallery use the derived lossless `mobile-home-light.webp`, with identical decoded RGBA pixels and dimensions.

Both source PNGs are retained for provenance. The screen WebPs use lossless encoding at effort 6, and both gallery images are served unoptimized to avoid further recompression.

The additional `mobile-{calendar,ai,calls,more}-light` PNG/WebP pairs are genuine 1320×2868 light-mode captures from the same local simulator on October 17 at 9:19–9:22 PM. They show Calendar List, the idle AI Operator workspace, Messages with the Calls filter, and Menu. The communications screen truthfully shows no configured phone line or call history. AI was opened through its read-only workspace entry; no recording or prompt was sent. All WebPs retain identical decoded RGBA pixels. These captures and the original Home/web captures are unchanged by the Blender studio revision.

These screenshots are Asteri product content, separate from the third-party asset licenses above. The local demo data and account are fictional. `sources.json` records the exact capture dimensions, provenance, and file hashes.

## Demo note and matching posters — October 18, 2026

The paper note attached to the upper-right laptop bezel is original procedural
geometry and ink created in `service-world-note.ts`: 240 paper triangles plus
a two-triangle contact shadow, with generated 512×512 paper and 128×128 shadow
textures. It is 20% smaller than the first side-mounted version, with a flat
top adhesive strip and curled bottom edge. It links to `/meet` and adds no
external font or model download. Both posters were recaptured from the live
scene with the note visible and UI overlays hidden only during capture; styles
were restored exactly. Current desktop poster: 1600×900, 63,174 bytes, WebP
quality 86. Current mobile poster: 500×1082, 31,790 bytes, WebP quality 92. Both
use Sharp effort 6. Source captures are `demo-note-refined-poster-desktop.jpg`
and `demo-note-refined-poster-mobile.jpg` in the task visualization folder.
Earlier poster sizes above are historical; current hashes are in `sources.json`.
All imported-model and photograph credits still apply.
