How to read this list
- Look-ups (48) only read. They change nothing and send nothing.
- Requests (53) never change anything by themselves. Each one adds a request to Asteri, and a person approves or declines it there. When a company turned approval off, Asteri approves the request for the person who connected the assistant and carries it out right away.
- Run an approved change (1) carries out a request a person already approved. It cannot approve anything itself.
- Sensitive requests (14) are the ones whose result reaches customers or cannot easily be undone, such as sending an email or text, cancelling a job, or changing what online booking shows. Assistants should ask the person to confirm each time.

Running an approved change

Before it runs a change, Asteri checks again that the person still has permission, that the record has not changed since the request was made, and that the company’s safeguards allow it. Asking twice with the same key never does it twice.
What an assistant can never do
- Take a payment or charge a card.
- See another company’s information.
- Approve its own request. When an owner or admin turns approval off, Asteri approves it in the name of the person who connected the assistant.
- See payment card numbers, passwords, restricted files or clock-in photos.
