What deletion removes
- Your Asteri login, linked authentication methods, passkeys, and MFA secrets.
- All sessions, refresh credentials, push tokens, VoIP registrations, and remembered devices.
- Your personal preferences, user-only notifications, and every organization membership.
- Personal identifiers in work records that must remain as shared or regulated evidence are anonymized.
What deletion does not remove
Deleting a personal account never silently deletes a shared organization or records belonging to other workspace members. A sole owner must transfer ownership or deliberately use the approved organization-closure path first. Deactivation, sign out, or removing the app is not account deletion.
When it happens, and what is kept
Nothing is deleted for seven days after you verify the request. You can cancel from this page or Settings → Privacy & Data at any point in those seven days. Everything is fully removed within 30 days, and Asteri emails you when it is done. Asteri preserves only narrowly required tax and financial records, fraud and security evidence, dispute or legal-hold records, payroll and employment records, and shared workspace history. Access to retained records is restricted to the required purpose and statutory period.
